Question by toomuch4u1112: Has anyone used a fleet enema previous to for constipation? Does it work? Do you get an urge to go the bowels?
I had back problems and was on a pain pill that caused the constipation. I just need to know what to expect if I use the enema.

The fleet enema does work – if you retain for 5-10 minutes you may find yourself on the toilet for a further 20+ minutes as it all comes out in a series of waves!
That said, the best way to take an enema is with the proper equipment – a pint of water mixed with liquid glycerin is a excellent formula.

    yes it will work fine. you may consider getting yourself an enema bag. it will be cheaper in the long run.

    Hold it as long as you can and it will work better.
    Drink a lot of water.
    Pain pills will do that. Prevention is better than cure….so
    drink water, get exercise, eat greens and prunes

    yes but only use as directed i used the whole bottle and i was in the rest room for the full day be careful
